General Description
Helmet Impact Absorption Tester for helmets consists of a rigid frame with a heavy base plate, a set of interchangeable steel anvils mounted on the base, a free fall guidance system with a dolly to keep the head-form with helmet on, an arrangement to drop the helmet from a known height on the anvil, a set of three accelerometers mounted in three mutually perpendicular directions which can be fitted inside a hollow metal head-form, and a data acquisition system with suitable software to provide the test report.

- Pneumatic brake to stop the drop carriage after the shock
- Three anvils kerbstone ,flat and round, easily interchangeable, supplied .
- Laser pointer inside the anvils holder , to track the right point of impact on helmets.
- Electric winch with pulley and encoder to be driven with inverter technology.
- Complete pneumatic plant with filter and pressure gauges.
- Speed control device with high frequency infrared photocell sensor.
- Transducer's cable with plugs.
- Mechanical parts finishing: Chrome plated and plastic coating paint.
- Supply 230v AC power supply into the control panel of the machine.
