The test apparatus shall comprise of the following:

a) Made in Rigid Square pipe with a heavy base plate size 24” X 30”,
b) Anvil rigidity fixed to a base, supporting the helmeted head form.
c) 50.0 kN (5000 N)(5000kgf) load cell fitted on base for measurement of acceleration at the centre of gravity of the head form.
d) A free fall guidance system, includes an adjustable chin-strap, the strap is tightened as much as possible.
e) A mobile system supporting the test apparatus.
f) A wooden drop hammer –wt. 3+0.01kg
g) A metal drop hammer tip radius are 36º & wt. .500gm + 0.005gm
